Levi M White was the son of Mary Louise Mitchell and Alfred Milo White.
Levi was a soldier in the Civil War. He was in an Iowa unit.
Levi's death is listed in his sister Mary Helen White Hoon's Bible.

Searching Shawnee Co, KS for records revealed: We have no death certificates for deaths which occurred prior to July 1, 1911.L. M. White, died after a fall from a horse the other day, at the age of 37.
He was from Vinton, Iowa, and worked on the George Wolff's stable last winter. He drew a pension on account of a wound in his arm he received in the late war. A brother lives in Republic county, but his address is unknown.

There is question that Levi M White is the bio father of Williard White. In 1870 Levi is living with his mother on the family farm in Le Claire, Scott Co, IA. Marie is living in MI. She probably was still using White as her last name and that is why Williard's last name is White. There is evidence that Levi and his brothers John Edward and James went to northern Kansas using Homestead patents from their service in the Civil War. There is no evidence that Levi was in MI.

Levi's grave in Topeka, KS has no stone. But the photo shows the area where he is buried by a red flower. Plot NS4 site 8
