She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Miles, sons Dr. Barry Adam (John), Randy (Marilyn), Kirk (Carol), daughter Lorinda (Stephen), grandchildren Diana, Jennifer & Bryce and great grandchildren Krystal & Isabella.

Her family was the focus of her life. She was positive, wise and patient, and always defended the principals of justice & fairness for her family and friends. Doris is a graduate of Calgary Tech in home economics. An avid gardener, she was gifted at sewing, cooking, and painting, and she designed & built 2 houses. She loved preparing family dinners.

She was loving, sweet, and kind but astute in business matters. She and Miles enjoyed attending the Arts Club Theatre, VSO and Playhouse Theatre since their arrival in Delta in 1965. She had a profound effect on all of us, and she will be sorely missed.
