Mrs. Alma P. Royer Anthrop, 59, of Klondike Road, West Lafayette was dead on arrival at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been in failing health several months but death was unexpected.
Mrs. Anthrop was born in Tippecanoe County and had been a life time resident of this area. In 1939 she was married to John E. Anthrop who survives. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament church, West Lafayette.
Surviving with the husband are two sons, John Thomas of Holland Michigan and Lawrene Allen of Lafayette; one brother Russell Royer of Detriot Michigan and two sisters Mrs. Lowell (Vallie) Switzer and Mrs. Jack (Arlene) Culver of Lafayette.
