SHE SEE MOTHER FALL TO DEATH
Dressing Drops Four Stories.
While hanging out clothes, Mrs. Hattie Dressing, twenty-three years old, the wife of Frank Dressing, of 804 East 178th street, was instantly killed yesterday by falling out of a fourth story rear window.
The woman's daughter, six years old, was a witness of the accident. Dr. Curtin, Coroner's physician, who happened to be passing at the time, ordered the woman's body removed to her home.
(Note: Both the age, spelling of the surname and the name of Hattie's husband (which was Henry) were incorrect in the newspaper report. A similar report appeared the same day in the New York Times.)
