Willis O. Marlow, 77, died Friday at the Veterans Administration facility at Marion following a lingering illness. He was retired 12 years ago from Delco Remy Division and had been a barber in Alexandria until becoming ill three years ago.
He was a veteran of service with the U.S. Army and a member of the First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, York Rite and the Knights of Pythias at Orestes.
Surviving are his wife, Beulah; a son, Jack G. (Margaret) Marlow, Anderson; two sisters, Margaret Gosnell and Leone Swindell, both of Alexandria; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Final rites were conducted Monday by the Rev. Jack Wachenschwanz at the Noffze Funeral Home. Burial was in Park View Cemetery
