TANNERSVILLE, Va. Janetta Richardson Shupe, 70, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, in the Smyth County Community Hospital. Mrs. Shupe was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Shupe. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Hayes and husband, Charlie of Tannersville, Va.; three grandchildren, Matthew, Shannon, and Ashley, all of Tannersville, Va.; two sisters, Shirley Shepard of Mouth of Wilson, Va., and Loretta Shockley and husband, Steve of Lenoir, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in the Grosses Creek Cemetery with Preacher Brian Taylor officiating.
