Carpenter, who formerly resided in Kiowa, died August 15, 1919, of bronchial pneumonia, at her home in Norman, Oklahoma, aged 63 years, 9 months and 9 days. -- The body was brought to Kiowa, accompanied by her daughter (Bessie Lois) Mrs. Bert Sleet(Albert Ross "Bert " Sleeth) and family, and laid to rest in Riverview cemetery, Sunday morning."
