Phyllis "Granny" Ragsdale died July 9, 2015. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 14, at the Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana. Interment was at the K of P Cemetery, Lizton.

She was born in Lizton, Indiana, on September 18, 1930, the daughter of the late Jesse and Ora (Hieston) Vaughn. Phyllis was a 1948 graduate of Lizton High School. In 1948, she was married to Albert Ragsdale; they later divorced. Phyllis worked as a waitress for many years at the Waffle House, retiring in 1995. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved every moment with her family and enjoyed playing Bingo.

She is survived by her children, Vicky Tuder and husband, Dennis, of Whitestown, Indiana; Becky A. Fairfield and husband, Donald, of Lebanon, Indiana; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Vaughn; sisters, Arlene Brownlee, Geneva Woodard, and Anna Lee Martin; and a great-grandchild.
