David Dancy was born in Tracy, CA to Curtis and Sandra "Kay" Dancy on December 10, 1970. David attended school in the New Jerusalem area and at Tracy High School. Despite his many physical challeges, he pursued his education and career with passion and perseverance. At CSU Stanislaus, David pursued his love of music and graduated with a degree in Business and Finance. Most of his professional career was spent at B&H Labeling where he was the company's accountant.
David married Jennifer Lindsey in 1996 and together they have two children, Ryan and Amy. David lived every day to love and serve his family.
David is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and children Ryan and Amy. He also leaves his mother, Sandra "Kay" Dancy, and his sister Kristine Pierce (Christian), and his brother Scott Dancy (Carol).
He is preceeded in death by his father, Curtis Dancy.
A private burial service will be held at Park View Cemetery in San Joaquin County. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at 12:30 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) at 800 Sylvan Avenue in Modesto.
