CHARLES H. DECKER HAMMOND, IN age 75 of Hammond, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Decker (nee O'Connor); son, Mike Decker; daughters: Debbie Decker, Diane Hutchinson, Donna (Jim) Cory, and Darlene (Todd) Hutchinson; four grandkids: Howard, Carrie, Lisa, and Steven; four great grandkids: Hailey, Eric, Brayden, and Bailey; and by his special friend, Joe Moore. Preceded in death by his father, Charles Howard Decker; mother Josephine (nee Peach) Alexander; three sisters: Betty Rinsch, Barb Baker, and Kate Blaski. Charles retired from KM Plant Services in Hammond and Highland. He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. Services will be private. White Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
