Jack D. Stapp, age 76 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday July 19, 2015. A native of Neosho, MO, he was the son of the late Edward L. and Lillian Welch Stapp. Mr. Stapp was also preceded in death by his wife, Jaunice Sturgis Stapp who died in 2008, and two brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Stapp is survived by his daughter, Wodora Stapp of Nashville, TN; brother Mac Stapp of Rockport, TX; special niece, Candice Wonderley of Broken Arrow, OK, and many other nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Ron Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Mr. Stapp was a US Air Force veteran and a retired truck driver with Consolidated Freightways.
