Mrs. Julius Rathje, 66, lifelong resident of Clinton county, died at 4:30 p.m. yesterday in her home, 3534 Cleveland street. The body will be taken to the family home tonight. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in St. John's Lutheran church. The Rev. Paul H. Burgdorf, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Oakland cemetery.

Mary A. Roeder was born June 26, 1879, in Clinton county, the daughter of Herman and Wilhelmina Roeder. On March 26, 1902, she was married to Julius Rathje who survives. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.

Other survivors are a daughter Mrs. George Kerr, at home; a son, Lewis, route 3, Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Barney Jacobsen, 229 North Sixth street, and Mrs. John Keil, Fulton, Ill.; a brother, Charles Roeder, 2426 Cleveland street; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
