Richard Nejdl, 57, died July 18, 2015 in Newton, Kansas. He was born January 4, 1958 to Mary Petersen and Frank Nejdl in Friend, Saline, Nebraska.
He had 4 siblings, Brothers Leroy, Douglas, Rick, and sister Twila. After losing their mother when Richard was just 9 months old, the children were raised by their Grandma Mary Kresak-Nejdl. Richard has been involved with the Fraternal Order of Eagles AERIE 2516 in Newton for many years, currently serving as Jr. Past Worthy President. He served as club president for 5 years, and has been involved in the organization or fundraisers and dinners for club members. Richard was the guy who always had a joke to put a smile on a friend's face. He could tell jokes for hours. He was dedicated to his club, and enjoyed the friendships that he developed there. Richard is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Franklin, a sister, Cindy Mansfield, and son, Bradley Adam Nejdl,I. He is survived by grandson, Bradley Nejdl II.; Brothers, Leroy Nejdl and Douglas Nejdl; and Sister Twila; dear friend, Mike; many Eagle brothers and sisters; and friends too numerous to mention all. Memorials may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles AERIE 2516 A memorial service for Richard will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday July 26, 2015 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles AERIE 2516, located at 120 W 5th St, Newton, KS 67114.
