Mary Jane Firestone, 96, of 502 Harrisburg Pike, Dillsburg, died at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle. She was the wife of the late Walter A. Firestone.
The service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Cocklin Funeral Home, 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Burial will be in Dillsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Firestone was born on Jan. 22, 1898, at Williams Grove, Monroe Township. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Ellen (Spangler) Kunkle.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the Dillsburg Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Firestone is survived by a son, Richard J. Firestone of Boiling Springs; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. 08-18-94
