Sudden Death--We learn that George Rector, who resided with his son, T.C. Rector, above the city, died very suddenly last Monday afternoon. The old gentleman, who was aged about 72 years, was very active and energetic for a man of his years. On Monday he had been busying himself about the place until near evening, when he started to the house. As he got to the door, he fell. His son saw him and ran to him, but he only gasped a few times and died. Deceased was well known and highly respected by many of our citizens, and the friends and relatives have the sympathy of all. We learn that he had formerly been troubled with a heart difficulty and that was probably the cause of his death.
