Barbara Elaine Willkie, nee Durbin, 78, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away July 15, 2015. Mrs. Willkie was born in Fulton, Kan., and raised in Harrisonville, Mo. Barbara was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and "domestic engineer." Proceeded in death by her husband, John Willkie, parents, Walter and Katherine Durbin, brothers, Joe and Leroy Durbin. Survived by children, Kevin (Lesa) Willkie, Roger (Tara) Willkie, Karnie (Dave) Wessling, and Robey (John) French; grandchildren, Kourtney Willkie; Hannah, Gage, Gunnar, Kannan and Gaitlin Willkie; Kiersten (Andrew) Gibson, John, and Jake Wessling; Delaney and John Willkie French; and her many granddogs; also survived by her brother, Errol Durbin. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 19, at St. John Francis Regis Parish. Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Monday, July 20, at St. John Francis Regis Parish. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Condolences can be sent to Langsford Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to copdfoundation.org, Salvation Army or American Cancer Society .
