In the Marriage Book of Polk County, Missouri, page 28, on June 22, 1853, Mr. John W. Ragsdale and Miss Mary Ann Hale married. Mr. Benjamin F. Gordon, Justice of the Peace officiated.
She was the Mother of Sarah Jane Ragsdale Suiter, Martha Rebecca Ragsdale Jones, Lavina Josephine Ragsdale, Mary Ann Ragsdale Rice, and Susan Virginia Ragsdale Hodge.
