News has been received in Athens of the death of J.L. Anderson, of Terrell, brother of Sheriff Mike Anderson of Kaufman. Funeral services were held last Friday in Terrell, with Dr. T.J. Doss and the Rev. Joe M. Russell officiating.

Burial was in College Mound.

Mr. Anderson was born in Henderson county in 1869, later living in Arkansas. He had been a resident of Terrell for 37 years.

Surviving are his wife, a son, two daughters, two brothers and two sisters.
