Mary Chamberlain services held
Prayer services were set for today at 11 a.m. at the Mount Shasta Chapel for Mary D. Chamberlain of Dunsmuir who died last Sunday in the Mount Shasta Eskaton Healthcare Center. Cremation followed with inurnment at Lawncrest Cemetery in Redding. Fr. Walter Albrecht officiated at the services.
Mrs. Chamberlain had been a resident of Dunsmuir for the past ten years and prior to that time had been in the restaurant business for 20 years at Lakehead in Shasta County. She was born April 15, 1899 in St. Josephs, Mo., and was 77 years of age at her death. She was also a member of the Eagle's Auxiliary in Dunsmuir.
Survivors include three daughters, Virginia La Rocca of San Diego, Opal Jones of Oakland, and Lorine Potter of Toledo, Washington. Two stepsons, Donald Chamberlain of Oakland and Bruce Chamberlain of Medford; Maudine Adams, a sister, of dunsmuir; and two brothers, James Milner and Dan Milner of Modesto. There are 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
