Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Eva McKinney, 79, of Arlington, who died Sunday evening, February 15, 1981, in an Arlington hospital were held Tuesday, February 17th, at 2 p.m. at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham. Burial followed in the Dodd City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Steve Nicholson, Richey Nicholson, Ronnie Nicholson, Mike Jacobs, Charlie Turner and Tommy Sikes.

Mrs. McKinney was born October 29, 1901, in Trenton, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dodd.

She married Gordon A. McKinney December 30, 1919, in Windom.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Mr. and Mrs. McKinney resided at 227 West Munson for several years before moving to Arlington in 1979.

Survivors include her husband, of Arlington; three daughters, Nina Gene Nicholson and Peggy Donald Jacobs, both of Arlington and Geraldine Holland of Denison; two brothers, Calvin Dodd of Bonham and William C. Dodd of Harker Heights; two sisters, Donnis Peebles and Marie Collard, both of Dodd City; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
