Jerry A. Holmes, 86, died July 17, 2015 of end stage congestive heart failure. She was born April 15, 1929 in Grandfield, OK to Robert and Zola Maloney. During her life, Jerry enjoyed doing bible study, sewing, and crafts. She was a member of Sooner Baptist Church.
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 52 years, Kenneth Holmes; and brothers, Glen Maloney and Carl Maloney. She is survived by her son, David Holmes and wife Sandra; daughter, Debra Hovarter and husband Billy; grandchildren: Joey Hovarter, Micah Holmes, Mirandy Ford, Jay Hovarter, Luke Holmes, Caleb Holmes, and Abby Holmes; 15 great grandchildren; and brother, Richard Maloney.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 8am-8pm with family present to receive friends from 4pm-6pm. Funeral ceremony will be held 2pm Monday, July 20 at the Resthaven Funeral Home chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Resthaven Funeral Home, resthavenokc.com
