Funeral services for Lois Evelyn Barlow Fortner, 76, a native of Evergreen, a resident of Foley, who died March 7, 1992, were held March 10 from Bayview Chapel in Foley. Burial was in Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale with the Revs. Reedy and Yancey officiating.
Survivors include her three daughters, Dorothy Evelyn Lehmann of Foley, Sharon Elaine Donaghy of Panama City, Fla., and Helen Marie Grantham of Pensacola; a son, Carl Robert Fortner Jr. of Foley, a sister, Rosa Lee Thomas of Robertsdale; a brother, Ralph Barlow of Pensacola; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Fortner was a licensed practical nurse at South Baldwin Hospital in Foley, retiring in 1989.
Active pallbearers were the deacons of the Summerdale Baptist Church.
