EDNA - Wallace Lea Farquhar, 69, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Wallace was born on June 9, 1946 in Edna TX to the late Jesse and Frances Simons Farquahar.
Wallace is survived by his 'Faithful Companion' (his Labrador, Victoria) as well as his sons; Marcus and his wife Kim Farquhar of Edna, Davis and his wife Leslie Farquhar of Edna, as well as four grandchildren.
Wallace is preceded in death by his parents.
Wallace was a lifelong member of the community, where he retired from the banking industry. He was also a member of The First United Methodist Church of Edna.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10;30 am at The First United Methodist Church at 210 N. Allen St. in Edna, TX with Reverend Adam R. Knapp officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Edna.
