Services for AlliE Ervin Carter, 81, were held Feb. 13 at Love-Cantrell Chapel.

Wayne Baird and Norman Adamson officiated. Burial was in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Carter died Feb. 11 at DeKalb General Hospital following an extended illness.
A native of DeKalb County, she was the daughter of the late Neal and Jenny Hale Ervin.

She was a member of Shiney Rock Emmanuel Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, Alfred Carter of Smithville; a son, R. J. Carter of Smithville; two sisters, N. A. Tramel of Smithville and Virgie Grissom of Smithville; three grandchildren, Ronnie Carter of Sparta and Gary Carter and Lynn Eaton of Smithville; and six great grandchildren.
A son, L. G. Carter, preceded her in death.
Serving as pallbearers were J. C. Carter, Ronnie Carter, Gary Carter, Larry Eaton, Eugene
Carter, Steven Carter, Timmy Adcock, Ricky Herndon, Willard Caldwell and Jeff Carter.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home of Smithville was in charge of arrangements.
