Wylie Dunn, 69, of Rockdale, died in a San Antonio hospital Sunday following an illness of several days.
The body was brought back to Rockdale by Phillips & Luckey, local funeral directors, and rested at the funeral home until Tuesday morning when it was taken to Burleson county for burial in the family plot. Rev. L.E. Strickland, Baptist pastor of Rockdale, conducted the services.
Mr. Dunn had lived in Rockdale for many years. Besides a sister, Mrs. J.P. Sparks, he is survived by a brother in Burnet, and a number of nephews. Rockdale Reporter and Messenger, July 11, 1940
