Gerald “Gary” Lee Dart, of Ballwin, Mo., passed away Tuesday evening, July 7, 2015, in his home.
Service at Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, with the processional to follow to his final resting place at Oblong Cemetery.
Gary was born on April 10, 1948, in Charleston, the son of Gerald “Doc” and Eulalee (Warters) Dart. He graduated Paris High School in 1966 and Eastern Illinois University in 1975 as an Industrial Engineer.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. His career was spent at United Parcel Service where he retired after 29 years. He moved from St. Petersburg, Fla., last year to be near family in Ballwin.
Gary is survived by siblings: Karen (Dart) Crome of Dallas, Texas, Jan (Dart) Roberge of Dallas, Texas, Lori (Dart) Parker of Peoria, Ariz., and Charlie Dart of Oblong; by his children, Jackie (Dart) Techter and spouse Chris of South Elgin, and Andrew Dart and spouse Corinne of Ballwin; and three grandchildren.
