Geneva Coffey Hertless passed away Monday, December 12, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Hertless, retired president of Hertless Brothers, Inc. Survivors include her son, William A. (Al) Hertless Jr. and his wife, Annette; her son, Douglas A. Hertless and his wife, Betty; her daughter, Jo H. Engels and her husband, Mark; two grandchildren, Sherry and Kevin Hertless; and two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Samantha Hertless, all of Richmond. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. Services will be held on Thursday, December 15, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coles Point United Methodist Church, Coles Point, Va. 22442 or Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad.
