Dean Archer, 83, Gray Station Rd., Gray died Wed., July 26, 1995 at NHC HealthCare after a lengthy illness. Mr. Archer was a Washington County native and a son of the late Bood and Grace Bacon Archer. He was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. Mr. Archer retired from Tennessee Eastman Co., Kingsport after 36 years of service. He was also a farmer. Mr. Archer was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Keys Archer; two daughters, Janice Slagle and Deanna Archer Waddell, both of Jonesborough one brother, Jim Archer, Gray; two grandsons, Jeff Waddell, Jonesborough, and Randall Slagle, Knoxville, one granddaughter, Vicki Hill, Nashville and three great-grandchildren.
