W. T. Barr was born November 2, 1884, died December 29, 1932, age 48 years one month, two days. United with the Ebenezer Baptist Church on September 27, 1909. He married Miss Nora Loflin on December 13, 1914. To this union were born three children, all who survive him, Hazel, Earl and Robie. For a number of years, Bro. Barr served the church as clerk, also as treasurer, which office he had at his death. In his death, the church has lost a true and faithful servant, his community a constant friend, his country a good and loyal citizen and the family his a loving husband and father.
