Mr. Billy Ray Dewoody passed away on July 11, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Billy Ray was born on January 23, 1936 in Fannin County, the son of Roy Dewoody and Vera Nichols Dewoody.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Ruiz and Margaret Smith.
He is survived by: Wife, son, two daughters, sister and eight grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday; July 14, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Bonham. Rev. Morgan Malone and Rev. Kevin Towery will officiate.
Private family graveside will follow at Arledge Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Dewoody will lie in state at Wise Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday and until service time on Tuesday.
