Valena W. Little Junemann

Valena W. Little Junemann, 80, passed away from this life to her great reward on July 9, 2015.
Valena was the fourth child born to Vera and Jack Weesner on December 26, 1934 in Frankston Texas. She Graduated from Bullard High School, near Tyler, Texas. Valena was married in the fall and started her family right away. After staying home with children for many years she went to work at Texas City National Bank and Merchants Bank in La Marque, Texas and eventually retired from both. In retirement she enjoyed six years as a Volunteer at the Mainland Medical gift shop. She loved to travel and went to Europe – London, Paris, Rome, and Wales. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Texas City.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Jimmie W. Little of Texas City; second husband, Raymond P. Junemann of La Marque, Texas; sons, Steven W. Little of Santa Fe, Texas, Charles W. Little of La Marque and Katy Texas; daughter, Alesa Anne Little James of Dickinson, Texas; sisters, Fayrene McDonald of Frankston, Texas, Mary Lou Bragg of Frankston, Texas, Frances Warren of Lindale, Texas; brother, Mason Weesner of Tenaha, Texas.

She is survived by son, John Paul Little of Texas City; grandchildren, Amy Little, Clayton Little, Steven and Tonia Switzer, all of Texas City, Brandy James Hyatt of El Paso, Texas, Jennifer little Spruell of Santa Fe, Texas; several great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Weesner (Sue) of Tyler, Texas, Regan Weesner (Hilda) of Lindale, Texas, Harold Weesner (Donna) of Whitehouse, Texas; two step daughters, Lisa Junemann Palmer (Mike) of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Lori Junemann Littlepage (Chuck) of Katy, Texas; sister in law, Reba Weesner of Tenaha, Texas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2015 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Pallbearers are Clay Little, AJ Amoto, Tim Porter, Larry James, Leo Venegas, Steven Switzer, Bill Frasier.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Burn Institute for Children in Galveston, Texas and First Baptist Church in Texas City for Benefit of Youth Program.
