Miss Julia A. Knowles died at the residence of L. E. Coe last Monday of pneumonia, after an illness of about a week, at the age of 68. She was an aunt of Mrs. Coe. The funeral was held Wednesday, and the remains were taken to Parma Center yesterday.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK - B y the Grace of God Free and Independent. To Henry A. Knowles, Clarinda Wildey, Nellie VanZandt, Levirier U. Knowles, Albert S. Knowles, Sarah H. Holcomb, Emily Dunning, Fidelia Mace, Frank Handy, George Handy. Send Greetings: You and each of you are hereby cited and required personally to be and appear before our surrogate of the county of Livingston, at the surrogate court of said county, held at the county court house in the town of Geneseo on the 10th day of June, 1895, at ten o'clock in the forenoon of that day, then and there to show cause why letters of administration of the goods and chattels and credits, which were of Julia A. Knowles, late of Livonia, Livingston county. New York, deceased, should not be granted to Lewis E. Coe, a creditor of said deceased.

In testimony whereof, we have caused the seal of office of our said surrogate to be hereunto affixed.

Witness, Edwin A.Nash, Esq., surrogate of said county, at Geneseo, the 23d day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred ninety- five.
