Mrs. Virginia Black, 86, of Lebanon, passed away July 10, 2015, at Homewood Health Campus.

Virginia was born July 11, 1928 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Chet and Fern (Van Arsdale) Dillon.

She was married to Carlos Black. He preceded her in death.

Virginia was a nursing assistant for Dr. Kern for over 20 years. She was a member of the Straight Street Band. As a young child, she performed, sang and danced with her family. They were called The Dillon Family Singers.

She was also a nanny for many children. She was a second mom to Nadine, Suzanne and Tammer Farid. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids and family.

Survivors include her children: Teresa (Tom) Kelly of Danville and Ted (Pam) Pratt of Lebanon; grandchildren: Eric (Sarah) Pratt of Lebanon, Jeremy (Nicole) Pratt of Lebanon and Jordin (Shaun) Dickerson of Zionsville; great-grandchildren: Isabelle Pratt, Chloe Pratt, Breana Pratt, Emma Pratt, Lilly Pratt, Isaiah Weiland and Jadin Dickerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters and brothers, MaryRose Aiduks, Judy Collier, Fannie Moulton, James Atkinson and John Atkinson.
