FIFTEEN YEARS AGO
Mrs. Kittie E. Kuehl, 72, wife of
J. W. Kuehl, residing north of
Wheeler, died Monday afternoon in
Methodist hospital, Gary. Death
resulted from a fall down a basement
stairs at her home on March
26. The decedent was born Dec.
20, 1864, near Flint lake, a daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Wise.
Surviving are the husband;
son, J. Louis Kuehl, north of
Wheeler, and a daughter, Mrs. C.E. Fifield, McCool.

She was married first to Frederick (Fred) McQuiston on January 7, 1885 in Porter County, Indiana. Fred died a little over 3 months later, on April 19, 1885.
