Bruce N. Niceschwander Died Tuesday at the Cyrus Strayer Home After Long Illness.
The death of Bruce N. Niceschwander occurred Tuesday at the home of his brother-in-law, Cyrus Strayer, five miles east and a half-mile south of Franklin after a long illness.
The deceased was born December 28, 1858 at Antwerp, Ohio, and died near Franklin, Nebraska, May 26, 1931, aged 72 years, 4 months and 26 days. He came to this section in 1882 and settled over in Kansas. He was married to Miss Nettie Strayer in 1884, and she passed away March 25, 1929. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Glen Eaton, two brothers and three sisters. He had a membership in the Christian Church at Harmony, Kansas and was a good Christian Character, with many relatives and friends, who sorrow at his death.
Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church in Franklin this Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock in charge Rev H. W. Cox and interment was in Greenwood cemetery.
