Donald C. Affelder, age 75, Dunnellon, Florida, passed away at home July 6, 2015, under the care of his family and Hospice. Don served his country well, having retired from the U.S. Navy. He also was a merchant marine captain and worked for the Crystal River State Park. Don's parents, Taylor and Eva, preceded him in death.
Don donated his body to research and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. It is suggested that any donations be made to Hospice of Citrus County and Nature Coast.
