Born July 3, 1935, in Steelton, he was a son of the late Harry and Martha Beistline.
Mr. Beistline was a U.S. Army veteran.
He attended Hershey Free Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and polka music.
Surviving is 2 sons, Richard A. and David A. Beistline and wife, Michaele, all of Harrisburg; 2 granddaughters, Holly and Heather Beistline; 2 brothers, Barry and Ronald Beistline; and a sister, Ruth Martin.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
A viewing will be from 10-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
