Mrs. Brill was born in Blythedale on June 1, 1925, the daughter of Walter Ray and Clara (Lindrose) Hougas. She married Wayne Brill on June 8, 1944, and he survives of the home. She worked as a homemaker, township collector, and at the Pearson's Store in Eagleville. She was a member of the 20th Century Club and the Otterbein United Methodist Church near Eagleville until it closed. She attended church in Blythedale.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Connie Gates, Trenton, Mo.; a son, Robert Brill, West Burlington, Iowa; a sister, Madolyn Hutton, Eagleville, Mo., and two granddaughters Brooke Long and Andrea Nelson, both of Ottumwa, Iowa.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, at the Roberson Funeral Home in Eagleville. The family will receive friends that evening after 7 p.m. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2000, at the funeral home with burial following in the Masonic Cemetery in Eagleville.
