Mrs. Florence K Beerits, Clara Burke Nursing Home, Plymouth Meeting, Pa., formerly of Somerset, died May 4 at the age of 87. She was a daughter of Oliver and Mary Pugh Knepper and was born Jan. 10, 1878 in Somerset. Her husband. John H. Beerits, died in 1957.

Surviving are two children: Mrs. C. D. Reynolds. Alameda, Calif.; and Henry C. Beerits, Radnor, Pa. There are five grandchildren.

Mrs. Beerits was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of the Somerset Garden Club and the Somerset Country Club. She was interested in the Mary S. Biesecker Public Library and aided in its founding.

The family will receive friends in the Richard E. Hanger Funeral Home on Friday from 12 noon until 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Ronald Renkel, with interment in the Husband Cemetery.
