He was born in Wilmington, NC to the late John and Mary Sellars Lennon.
Larry retired in 2000 after 32 years of employment with G.E. He was a member of Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church for 35 years where he was an elder and active in many other ways. He loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart and shared that love with his family and friends. Larry enjoyed playing golf, softball, basketball and the guitar. His family loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Lennon.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Patricia Huckabee Lennon; children, Lee Ann Baker and husband, Glenn, Jeff Lennon, Tina Holmes and husband Allen all of Wilmington; grandchildren, Nicholas Baker, Matthew Baker, Luke Holmes, Abby Holmes and Isabella Holmes; brothers, Wayne Lennon and Steve Lennon and many special extended family members.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm, Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Andrews Valley Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 11am, Friday, July 10, 2015, at Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
