BUENA VISTA, AUG.7, 1941 – Elijah Thomas Chittum, 79, a native of Amherst County, died at his home four miles south of Buena Vista Thursday morning after a long illness. He was twice married.
Surviving are two sons, including Bluford Chittum, Roanoke and a brother.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
