From his obituary: Joe "Pop" Haya, 81, passed away Thursday, June 18. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Hortensia Haya; daughters, Debra Neel (David Neel d.) and Tammy Reale Vicks (Jeffery Vicks); brother Jimmy Haya; grandchildren, Anne Hammer (David Hammer), Jose Neel (Katie Neel), JT Reale and Skylar Reale; great grandchildren, Nicholas Hammer and Andrew Hammer; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings Manuel Haya and Antonia Marshall. He is fondly remembered for his love of family, hunting in Ocala and his cattle and other animals.
