Obituary published in the Bienville Democrat November 14, 1957:
FRANK BRIGHT: Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the family home for Frank Bright, 82, who died November 7 following an illness of several months. Officiating were Rev. J. R. Colvin and Dr. E. D. Giddens. Interment was in Mt. Lebanon cemetery under the direction of Conger's funeral home. Pallbearers were Edgar Tyson, Claude Tyson, Jesse Smith, Clyde O. Heflin, L. C. Utley and Joe Whitlock.

Survivors include his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Ernest Tyson, Lillie Bright, Mrs. George Howard, all of Arcadia, and Mrs. Jessie Carter of Bryceland; one son, L. C. Bright of San Diego, California; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Chandler of Vivian and Mrs. Addie Taylor of Minden; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Charles Frank Bright born Oct 12, 1875, son of George C Bright & Elizabeth Byrd
Married Margaret E. Canterbury July 4, 1897. She was born in Oak Grove Dec 17, 1877, daughter of Robert Steel Canterbury & Margaret Hudson. They had six girls and one boy.

“On 7 November 1957 Grandpa Bright died in the living room of the house where they lived. He was eighty-two years old. He was buried in the Mount Lebanon Cemetery with the rest of the family. Grandma Bright and Aunt Lillie went to the Valley View Nursing Home where Grandma Bright died a year or so later.”
