Funeral services for William Clifton (Clifford) Brooks, Jr., four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C Brooks, of No 29 Piedmont avenue, was held yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence. The services were conducted by Rev. J. A. Thomas, pastor of the St Luke Methodist church. Interment in Riverdale cemetery followed. The child was burned to death when his clothing became ignited from the burning of grass at his home Friday afternoon. The pallbearers were: Carl Rountree, W.L. Few, W.I. Tay, and R. Howard Hendrix.
