From his obit: Mr. J.C. Anglin died January 19 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A.M. Bell, near Duluth. He was 87 years old. He served in the Confederate army; was wounded at Vicksburg. He was a successful farmer of Forsyth County. He is survived by two sons, two daughters, several grandchildren, and a host of friends. His remains were interred at Sharon on the 20th, funeral services conducted by Rev. J.W. Coffman. The bereaved ones have our heartfelt sympathy.
