Alberta loved her family and the time she spent with them. She was a great cook fixing pies, cherry mash, peach cobbler, and the best mashed potatoes you ever had. She enjoyed traveling, quilting and bowling. Alberta retired from Independent Welding after 27 years of service.
Survivors include daughter, Pamela (Stan) Rippey of Mound City; three grandchildren, Justin (Aimee) Rother of Craig, Mo., Jennifer (Scott) Braun of Weatherby Lake, Mo., and Angela (Nate) Kelim of Kansas City, Mo.; six great-grandchildren, Maverick Rother, Carson and Tyler Beach, Mason and Drake Mohamed, and Elena Kelim.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at BreitHawkins Funeral Home, Savannah.
Interment will be in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah.
Public visitation and family receiving hours will be 6-8 p.m. today, at the Funeral Home. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
