Her Obituary-The Vermont Standard, Woodstock, VT, June 25, 1908
"Mrs. Freelove Mace, aged 100 years, 4 months and 6 days, died at South Woodstock last Friday afternoon at five o'clock, and funeral services were held on Sunday morning at ten o'clock, the Rev. Charles F. Partridge officiating. The centennial anniversary of her birth was celebrated Feb. 13 last, and many of her friends and acquaintances were interested in the event. Mrs. Mace was born in Grantham, N.H., Feb. 13, 1808, and was married to Nathan Mace in Hartland in 1828. Of their six children one, Nathan Mace of Littleton, N.H. survives, and she also leaves six grandchildren; four of whom live in this vicinity, viz; Fred W., Edward and George Clark of this village and Frank W. Clark of South Pomfret. Besides these are seven great-grand-children and three great-great-grandchildren. The interment was made in Jenneville cemetery in Hartland."
