Norman G. Busse , 76, of Palatine, died July 1 in Palatine. He was born August 6, 1929, in Arlington Heights.
Mr. Busse was a retired Arlington Heights police officer where he served from April 1959 to June 1988. He had a passion for airplanes.
He is survived by his sons, Kevin (Benita) Busse , Kim (Joy) Busse ; a daughter, Karen (Mark) Lex; grandchildren, Matthew Busse , Jacomore Busse , Elizabeth, Michael, Sarah and Eric Lex; and brothers, Gordon and Robert Busse.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia E. Busse.
