She was born in Duffield, Va. on October 2, 1920 and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Owens; 2 sisters, Cordie Wells and Cassie Radford; 2 brothers Toby Hilton and Robert Omer Hilton

She is survived by a son, Toby Hilton; a sister-in- law Linda Hilton and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday July 5, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, VA.
Graveside service will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11 AM in the Cox Chapel Cemetery.
