Claude Calvin Detherow, age 85 of, Arkadelphia, formerly of North Little Rock, passed from this life on Monday November 18, 2019 at his home. He was born November 16, 1934 in Batesville, the son of the late Claude Monroe and Edith Byrd Walker-Phillips Detherow. Claude was a 1953 graduate of Batesville High School and served in the United States Army. He was a self employed electronic repairman for many years. Claude was a member of Amboy Baptist Church of North Little Rock. He enjoyed Karate, metal detecting, genealogy and running. Claude was a member of the Arkansas Running Klub and set many state time records for his age group. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia Martin Detherow and one son, David Detherow.



Claude is survived by one son Brian Detherow and wife Susan of Nashville, TN, one daughter, Pamela Frazier and husband Chris of Arkadelphia, five grandchildren, Kenneth Blake Janski and wife Sarah of Hot Springs, Dawson and Isabella Frazier of Delight, Nash Taylor and wife Beverly of Bend, OR, Bonds Taylor and wife Alissa of Fairfield Bay, AR, three great grandchildren, Alexa, Caleb and Oliver of Hot Springs, and a very special friend, Helen Smith of Arkadelphia, who was a loving and kind companion and brought him much happiness in his last few years.
